Our client Lecturama, dealing in ornate and rare collectibles gave us a brief to develop an e-commerce site targeting different countries with the site contents to be made available in different languages.The entire e-commerce had to be managed by a common backend that would effectively support and manage the order management system, and stock handling system, keeping in mind that orders would originate from multiple locations in region-specific languages. The challenge lay in building a single e-commerce site incorporating different languages including English, Dutch, Belgian and German. The proposed system had to track individual customer requests as well as bulk orders from vendors, all coordinated by a common backend.

mêa|LOGIC successfully built an e-commerce site with an Order Management System (OMS) and a Stock Management system. The e-commerce site was incorporated with attractive images of the collectibles, visible as soon as the site opens. The whole shopping experience has been made enjoyable by detailed description of each of the artifacts along with price and payment options. A shopping cart is provided for customers and vendors to make their choice of articles, strengthened by a secure online payment gateway. Customers have the option to access the e-commerce site in a language they are comfortable in. In the OMS, the order manager can view customer orders that originate in the 4 languages from different global locations and effectively handle dispatch and delivery. The three notable features of the site are navigation experience, ease of shopping and secure payment gateway.
